Marilyn Carson
Marilyn Carson is a highly accomplished real estate professional with a career spanning over 25 years and nearly half a billion dollars in sales. Marilyn began her real estate journey in 1997 in The Woodlands, Texas, where she quickly rose to prominence, earning numerous awards and accolades, including recognition as one of the Top 100 Realtors in Houston, Top 1% of all agents in Texas, and The Greater Houston Builder’s Association Realtor of the Year.
In 2014, Marilyn and her husband, Clay, relocated to 30A, Florida—a place that had always held special meaning to their family through years of cherished vacations. Once settled, Marilyn continued her real estate career with Rosemary Beach Realty, where she solidified her expertise in luxury real estate and 30A living. However, in 2020, as the pandemic unfolded, her family called her back to The Woodlands. She now splits her time between the two locations, continuing her real estate success in both markets.
In The Woodlands, Marilyn rejoined forces with her longtime friend and broker, Beth Ferester, at Corcoran Ferester Realty, which became affiliated with the Corcoran Group in 2022. Naturally, Marilyn also joined the Corcoran family on 30A, transitioning to Corcoran Reverie with her team in August. To date, Marilyn has sold over $150 million in luxury real estate and investment properties along 30A, with deep expertise in all aspects of the local market.
Personal Life and Community Engagement
Marilyn is a proud mother of two children—Delanie, a graduate of the University of Alabama, residing in Nashville, Tennessee, and Ryan, who lives in Northwest Houston with his wife Kaitlyn and their 3-year-old son Colin, Marilyn’s pride and joy. She also has two beloved French Bulldogs, Georgie and Hank.
Marilyn graduated from St. Agnes Academy in Houston, Texas, before attending The University of Texas and later earning her BA in Advertising and Marketing from the University of Houston, where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity. She has been an active community member, serving on the board of the American Heart Association, as a sustaining member of the Junior League, a member of the ZTA Alumni Association, and a Lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show Rodeo.
